Nichola Trigg - Chief Executive and Senior Safeguarding Lead

Nichola is the Association’s Chief Executive and joined us in 2012. A chartered accountant by profession, Nichola has an extensive commercial and financial background spanning over 20 years. Nichola oversees the running of the whole organisation and has specific focus on the Corporate and Financial side of our projects. She is also a qualified referee as well as being a Director of WFA and WFA Sports Facilities Ltd.


Ollie Williams

Ollie Williams - Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Senior Safeguarding Lead

Ollie joined the Association in 2013 as a Football Development Officer and went on to hold the role of Referee Development Manager between 2017 and 2022. In September 2022, Ollie took on the new role of Chief Operating Officer and his remit includes overseeing our Administration processes, Football Development provision and the County Sports Ground facility. Ollie is also an active assistant referee on the English Football League (EFL).

Safeguarding our participants is at the heart of everything we do. We have staff who oversee our safeguarding processes in conjunction with external organisations to identify and deal with poor practice issues through to serious safeguarding risks.

Julie Lymer

Julie Lymer - Football Services Manager and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer

Julie has an extensive background in administration and is our longest serving member of staff, having joined us in 2002. There is very little that Julie doesn’t know about the Association and the administration processes for grassroots football. This makes Julie one of the first ports of call for club and league administration enquiries including affiliation, player registration, county cups and sanctioning.

Ravel Cheosiaua

Ravel Cheosiaua - Discipline & Investigations Officer

Ravel re-joined the County FA in October 2018 as Discipline & Investigations Officer. Day-to-day, Ravel oversees all discipline matters including yellow cards, red cards, misconduct cases and investigations (including serious allegations). He also works to educate/support all participants regarding discipline in general. Away from the office, Ravel is an active assistant referee on the English Football League (EFL).

Jacquie Owers

Jacquie Owers - Football Delivery Manager

Jacquie started work at the Association in January 2011 and quickly established herself as a key member of our team. She now leads the day-to-day running of our Development Team alongside a wide variety of tasks across our central administration team. Jacquie leads on England Football Accreditation which means that she works alongside leagues and clubs to create experiences and environments where players, coaches and volunteers can thrive.

Martin Collier - Football Development Manager

Martin joined the team in the Spring of 2013 as a Football Development Officer. He was promoted to the role of Senior Football Development Officer in October 2015 and then Football Development Manager in July 2017.

Louise Mylles

Louise Mylles - Football Development Officer (Women, Girls, Coach Education & Youth Council)

Louise joined the team in October 2022 as a Football Development Officer responsible for women and girls’ football and coach education in the county as well as our Youth Council. Louise provides support to our leagues and clubs looking to expand their female provision as well as coaches who want to enhance their knowledge, skills and practices through CPD offers.

Jack Handsaker

Jack Handsaker – Football Development Officer (Adult Male & Facilities)

Jack has been part of our team since March 2023. He is responsible for facility development across the county as well as overseeing our adult male football provision. Jack oversees new and existing projects across the region looking to improve and develop football facilities providing a more enjoyable and accessible playing experience for participants. Outside of work, Jack is a UEFA B qualified coach who has worked with teams across Worcestershire whilst having a keen interest in playing cricket during the summer months.

Jack Shepherd

Jack Shepherd - Referee Development Officer

Jack has been part of our team since February 2023. He is responsible for the recruitment, conversion, retention and progression of our referee workforce. Jack organises our Referee Courses and oversees our offer of development and support to match officials. Away from the office, Jack is an active match official currently operating at Step 3 and Step 4 which sees him take charge of Northern and Southern Premier League matches.

Helen Plumley

Helen Plumley - Youth League Referee Appointments Officer

Helen’s primary function is to appoint match officials to youth football matches for Worcestershire FA affiliated competitions. She has a lot of experience in league administration and supporting match officials. Helen also helps to run our Connexions Café and has completed food hygiene courses and a First Response course.

Mark Burford

Mark Burford - Facilities Manager

Mark joined us in August 2022 and leads the running and maintenance of County Sports Ground including coordinating bookings and pitch/site maintenance.

Paul Loader

Paul Loader - Facility Coordinator

If you have been to our Claines Lane site, you have probably met Paul! He is often seen completing pitch maintenance on the grass or 3G artificial turf pitch and liaising with hirers during bookings.

Spencer Knott

Spencer Knott - Facilities Assistant

Spencer works hard alongside Mark and Paul to ensure that our County Sports Ground site is clean, tidy and welcoming when you enter. He also assists the team with setting up internal rooms in preparation for bookings.
