As Worcestershire FA, we are running an independent Coach Mentor scheme to support any coach (of any gender) who are active within the male pathway from mini soccer up to U18’s. The aim of the Mentor is to provide support to local coaches, aiding their understanding of the game in a variety of aspects and helping them to improve. These aspects could include technical components of coaching, delivery of sessions, safeguarding/child-welfare and long-term player involvement and development.

There is an application process by which Clubs need to fill out an online form to apply for the chance to receive this support. However, there are limited spaces and hours available to clubs. As a result, priority will be given to those who can demonstrate the most impact. There are also requirements that your club will need to meet before applying;

• Must be affiliated to Worcestershire FA
• Must be England Football Accredited
• Must demonstrate the level of impact this opportunity can have in terms of number of coaches (e.g. is it for a single coach or a cohort) and sustainability/aid of their learning moving forward post-support (e.g. recommending CPD events etc). This can be explained during your application form.

The deadline to complete this form is Friday 22^nd March 2024 by 5pm and needs to be completed by either the Chairperson of the Club or the Club Secretary. Please see the link below to complete:
