WorcestershireFA

As a Player, there are many opportunities for you to play our national game in Worcestershire, whatever your age, gender, ability, race, culture or background. In addition to the introduction below, you can find out lots more useful information by selecting from the drop down menu located on the ‘Player’ tab above.

Worcestershire has a long and proud history, as you would expect from a county that is so passionate about the game, there are no shortage of different forms of football for you to get involved in. From the small-sided game, such as mini Soccer for young children taking their first steps in the game to Futsal and of course the hugely popular five-a-side, to the more traditional eleven-a-side game.

However you choose to enjoy playing football, there are over 340 clubs which contain over 820 teams that make up the membership of Worcestershire FA, each of whom are involved in regular league football. In addition, you can also find out how to get involved in football on a more casual basis through our partnership through the FA and Mars ‘Just Play’ scheme and through several recognised small sided football centre’s across the city. Worcestershire FA are committed to providing opportunities to play the game we all love in every community.

It’s never too late to start playing football. Check out the Find a Club locator on the right hand side of the page and contact a club near you, or if you would like some more advice contact the Football Services Team at our offices on 01905 827137.
