In Worcestershire we have approximately 300 referees who perform a vital role within all areas of football and without these referees football would not be what it is today. It is with this in mind that Worcestershire FA takes the training and also the support of our referees very seriously.

The Worcestershire FA Recruits and trains new referees through the Basic Referee Training Course, as well as providing a number of continuation training opportunities for existing referees.

Our training programmes include all aspects of our beautiful game including: Futsal, small-sided, Mini Soccer and the full refereeing qualification for 11-a-side football. The Referee Development Team provides high quality continuation training and learning opportunities for existing match officials. Our Referee Development Officer (RDO) Adam Watts provides a focal point for co-ordination of the activities of the team.
