WFA Player Development Centre

Worcestershire FA runs a Player Development Centre (PDC) to support the development of young players.

Our PDC is designed to assist players with their ongoing development in addition to their participation at a local club. Sessions are for boys and girls playing in grassroots football (not part of an Academy) and provides the opportunity for players to receive quality coaching in addition to regular training and matches at their club.

We currently offer PDC sessions for players aged 9-13. Our coaches are UEFA B or UEFA C qualified and hold in-date Safeguarding Children qualifications and DBS Checks.

Our PDC is hosted 5pm-6pm on weekday evenings at Worcestershire FA’s headquarters (County Sports Ground, Claines Lane, Worcester, WR3 7SS). Players must register in advance of sessions by contacting Worcestershire FA, details below.

The current cost for attending a 6 week block is £60 per term (to be paid in advance) which will include training kit. Our PDC is delivered on a 3G Artificial Grass Pitch meaning that players must wear plastic moulded football boots (trainers and metal studs will not be permitted).
