FRAME AND POWER CHAIR EVENT

Worcestershire FA to support new disability provision in the county

WFA will be supporting Worcestershire Disability FC and the University of Worcester with Cerebral Palsy, Frame and Powerchair Football.

The Worcestershire FA will be supporting Worcestershire Disability FC and the University of Worcester in the creation of new provisions for Cerebral Palsy, Frame and Powerchair Football for young people in the county.

In partnership with Active Herefordshire and Worcestershire, the Wheelchair FA and CP Sport, Worcestershire Disability FC will be delivering a taster event at the University of Worcester Arena on Sunday 11th December 2022. The club and the Worcestershire FA are looking to encourage participation amongst young people, particularly within Primary and Secondary Age bandings (U11’s and 12-16 year olds). This is an exciting opportunity for young people to become involved in sport and exercise. It’s a chance to pursue a positive, healthy habit of which there are many benefits including leading healthy lifestyle, participation in team activities and competitive opportunities as well as receiving quality coaching to help them improve as young footballers within the disability game.

If your child would be interested in taking part, please get in touch by contacting Issey Lee-Fisher (Football Development Officer for Disability, Youth Male and Inclusion): issey.lee-fisher@worcestershirefa.com or send an email via the details displayed on the event flyer below.
