New: Female Networking Forum
Please forward the below information to any female or male coaches/volunteers within your club working with female teams and players. Thank you.
Worcestershire FA Female Networking Forum (WFA FNF) will provide an interactive platform for female or male coaches, volunteers (including youth leaders), and also referees currently working with female players, teams, clubs, and leagues or those who may be aspiring to in the future across Worcestershire.
The aim of WFA FNF will be to deliver a handful of workshops per-season, in order to share ideas, gain CPD, and create a core understanding of how women’s and girls’ football should look locally. It will also consider programmes which are offered on both local and national levels, such as SSE Wildcats, WFA Lionesses, and Women’s High Performance Centres.
Information regarding these workshops and events will be shared as much as possible on our County FA website but the Facebook page will also be utilized as a ‘communication base’ for the forum.
Information for the first event is listed below.
Request to join the Facebook Group: ‘Worcestershire FA Female Networking Forum’
PLEASE NOTE: The forum is being established for those working and volunteering in the female game through clubs, organisations, and leagues in Worcestershire.
It is NOT an advertising page for clubs or leagues regarding players, coaches, and events.
Any posts on the forum need to be kept clean and respectful. Members will be removed and/or the group closed if this is not adhered to. We are here to help, not hinder.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) ‘’Working with Female Players in the Social Corner’’
Our first WFA FNF event is in the shape of a CPD workshop aimed at male and female coaches and volunteers working with female players in the grassroots game locally.
Corinne Mitchell, lead female coach for Aston Villa Ladies, will be delivering the CPD event supported by our Worcestershire County Coach Developer, Dave Stevens, and WFA Women's and Girls' Football Development Officer, Jodie Williams.
There are limited spaces for this FREE event, so please use the link below to book. You MUST book to attend the CPD.
