Inclusion Advisory Group
The Worcestershire Football Association is developing an Inclusion and Advisory Group (IAG) and is seeking applications for new members.
The Inclusion Advisory Group is part of the Worcestershire FA and acts as a critical friend. It advises in relation to equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) matters to assist our development, operations and activity relating to football across the county. The group is there to provide guidance and advice so that football is accessible and enjoyable for all across our county.
The IAG consists of individuals with relevant expertise and knowledge that relates to EDI and should be from various backgrounds and communities. Some are from footballing backgrounds (grassroots or higher) and some are elected on the basis of their experiences external to football. However, all members share the common vision of football being there for everyone to enjoy, be that refereeing, coaching or playing.
We are fast approaching the 2023/24 season and are recruiting for additional members to join our IAG. If you think you have the desire, motivation and expertise to be able to offer ideas, advice and knowledge on EDI in the county, please complete the online form below.
Please note that the deadline is Thursday 31st August at 5pm. Any applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Applications will then be processed and you may be invited for an informal conversation with a Worcestershire FA member of staff and a member of the current IAG.
If you would like further information on the IAG and its roles and responsibilities, please contact us via email: email@example.com or call us on 01905 827137.
