Vacancy: Football Development Officer

Can you make a difference to the future of grassroots football?

Worcestershire FA are looking for a Football Development Officer to join the team!

Salary for this position up to £21,000 OTE. 

The FA has a vision for developing grassroots football and is working with County Football Associations, Local Authorities and other key partners to get more people into football through a variety of traditional and non-traditional programmes. Worcestershire FA is looking to employ a Football Development Officer to implement and deliver these programmes across the county.

As part of this exciting opportunity, you will be at the forefront of developing and delivering creative ways for local people to participate in grassroots football. Your main priorities will be focusing on Disability Football and leading on Inclusion across the county as well as being responsible for other national KPI’s. You need to be passionate, able to deliver a high quality programme meeting multiple deadlines and targets, work in a team but must demonstrate individual initiative & self- motivation. You should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be of graduate caliber (or relevant experience), and have knowledge of the local area. Experience in Sports Development is desirable but not essential. This is not a coaching role.

Employed by Worcestershire FA, you will be based at our office in Worcester but will be required to deliver projects across Worcestershire, so it is essential you have your own transport and a clean driving licence.It is worth noting that evening and weekend work is expected within this role.
