Sir Bobby Robson National Football day

Worcestershire FA are delighted to be overseeing three events for the Sir Bobby Robson National Football Day as part of The FA’s 150 year...

Event 1 is being hosted by Oldbury Park Tigers and Worcester Disability FC, who are forming a partnership ready for the start of season 2013/14. Their activities will be focusing on disability and girls’ football, being run at the University of Worcester between 11am and 3pm. Anyone interested in attending to receive coaching or to play for fun can express their interest via WDFC’s website page

Event 2 is being run by Kidderminster Lions, at King Charles I high school in Kidderminster between 10am and 2pm. This mini-soccer festival and fun day will include a host of free activities such as a coaching session with The FA Tesco Skills Team, penalty competitions, a session at Lions’ soccer school and much more!

Event 3 is being held by WCT Raiders at King George V playing fields in Worcester between 11am and 3pm. This will be a 'formats of football' day, with the excellent facilities offering the opportunity to receive coaching and play in 5v5 and 9v9 games, as well as other fun activities for those not wishing to play in matches.

Anyone looking for further information on any of the above events should visit the dedicated page on The FA website, where more information and club contacts can be found.
