Meet The Team

Nichola Trigg

Chief Executive

Nichola is the Association’s Chief Executive having joined us in 2012. A Chartered Accountant by profession, Nichola has an extensive commercial and financial background, spanning over 20 years. She is also an active referee and a member of Kidderminster Referees' Association. She is a Director of the WFA and WFA Sports Facilities Ltd.

Julie Lymer

Office Manager

Julie is our longest-serving member of staff, having joined us in 2002. She has an extensive background in administration. There is very little that Julie doesn’t know about the Association and the administration procedures for grassroots football. This makes Julie the first port of call for all Club and League administration enquiries, including affiliation and sanctioning.

Martin Collier

Football Development Manager

Martin joined the team in the spring of 2013 as a Football Development Manager. He was promoted to the role of Senior Football Development Officer in October 2015 and Football Development Manager in July 2017. He has a wide-ranging brief with responsibilities that include facility development, working with our coaching providers, sports partnerships and local authorities. Martin hails from the South-West and is an avid Exeter City supporter.

Ollie Williams

Referee & Discipline Manager

Ollie joined the Association in the spring of 2013 as a Football Development Officer. He was promoted to the role of Referee & Discipline Manager in July 2017. Ollie oversees the recruitment and retention of the Association’s referee workforce, the Centre of Refereeing Excellence and is a tutor for our referee courses and workshops. He also leads the Disciplinary team for all Clubs at Step 5 and below in Worcestershire. Ollie is currently a Level 3 Contributory League referee and a Panel Select assistant referee.

Anna-Maria Konstantinides

Safeguarding & Investigations Manager

Anna joined the team in January 2011 as our County Welfare Officer. Her vital role monitors, evaluates and deals with Safeguarding issues across all levels of football in Worcestershire. Anna provides the link to our League Welfare Officers and is always on hand to help and advise. She also leads on investigations regarding disciplinary and discrimination matters.

Laura McGinn

Football Development Officer

Laura joined us in October 2015. She hails from the North of England and graduated from the University of Leeds. Laura is responsible for developing Girls’ and Women’s’ football and works closely with our Women’s League. She also leads on Veterans and Walking Football. She is a keen Everton supporter.

Jodie Williams

Disability/Inclusion Football Development Officer

Jodie is usually based in our Droitwich office on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Jodie is responsible for developing disability football. Part of Jodie’s remit focuses on making football more inclusive for all, including BAME participants and overseeing the Inclusion Advisory Group. She also leads on our Young Leadership programme, overseeing the WFA Youth Council and the Football Futures programme. Jodie is an advocate of the women’s game and still actively plays and coaches as well as supporting Everton FC.

Jacquie Owers

Administration Lead Officer – Development

Jacquie started work at the Association in January 2011 and quickly established herself as a key member of our team. Her role encompasses a wide variety of tasks. She is the focal point for administration of the Development Team. She leads on Charter Standard accreditatation, which is a vital part of the continued development of both club and individual standards, and oversees the coach/referee education programme.

Grace Barr


Grace joined the Association in July 2017. She supports the Discipline, Referees and Governance administration across the office, as well as assisting the Development department with pre-course requirements.

Lynne Williams

Development Administrator

Lynne joined us in 2012 and is the coach/referee course administrator. She is responsible for the co-ordination of the many FA Coaching courses that are available and she provides the vital link between the course tutors and applicants. Lynne also sources and co-ordinates the venues for the courses that are available.

Helen Plumley

Youth League Referee Appointments Officer

Helen is home-based and her primary function is to appoint match officials to youth football matches for Worcestershire FA affiliated youth leagues. Helen has a range of experience in referee administration having previously been an appointments officer for a large youth league. The experience that Helen brings to the team having worked with referees on this basis for a number of years is second to none.
