Charter Standard Festival 2010

The date for the WFA annual Charter Standard Club Festival has been confirmed as Saturday 26th June 2010.

This years festival is themed around the ‘World Cup’ with entrants being delegated a nation that is competing within the world wide competition. The challenge is for teams to represent their nation most effectively, by wearing their colours, making a flag, painting their face or even learning the national anthem! The team that demonstrates the most creativity when portraying their nation will win a prize for their team – So get into the WORLD CUP SPIRIT!

Also, this years Charter Standard ‘World Cup’ Festival is being run in accordance with the ENGLAND FOOTBALL DAY Campaign!

Matt Jones (Football Development Officer) said 'The festival is a celebration of the FA’s Charter Standard Accreditation but this year it is also being used as an opportunity to raise awareness of being involved in the beautiful game - because whether you aspire to be a player, a coach, a referee or an administrator you can rest assured that FOOTBALL NEEDS YOU'.
