This is an exciting new project whereby the F.A are going to reward young leaders aged 14 to 19 years old volunteering within Charter Standard Clubs. The young leaders will be recognised for their efforts by receiving F.A Volunteer Certificates at 10, 25 & 50 hours of voluntary service, which can contribute to their own personal development.
The main aim of the programme is to develop a future generation of leaders and volunteers who have the knowledge and experience to make a positive contribution to local sporting communities. The secondary aim is to create links between schools, which deliver leadership courses, and Charter Standard Clubs which present young leaders with the opportunity to volunteer within their local community.
Also, through taking part in the programme there may be the opportunity for the young leaders to attend a National F.A Training Camp and potentially be selected to work abroad for the F.A.
