REGIONAL L2 FEMALE COACH MENTORING PROGRAMME. WFA are looking for L1 female coaches who are dedicated and passionate about achieving thier Level 2 certificate. In addition Level 2+ male or female coaches to work as mentors in this fantastic programme. A great opportunity to develop as a coach.
• THE PROGRAMME WAS SET UP IN 2007 TO HELP ENCOURAGE AND INCREASE THE NUMBER OF LEVEL 2 FEMALE COACHES ACTIVELY WORKING IN FOOTBALL IN THE WEST MIDLANDS REGION
• THE PROGRAMME IS DESIGNED TO SUPPORT FEMALE COACHES TO UNDERTAKE THE LEVEL 2 QUALIFICATION FOR 12 MONTHS, INCLUDING COACH EDUCATION WORKSHOPS, AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT SESSIONS
• CANDIDATES WILL RECEIVE A PLACE ON A FEMALE ONLY FA LEVEL 2 COURSE, GUIDANCE & ASSISTANCE FROM A QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED COACH MENTOR, THE WEST MIDLANDS FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT TEAM, COUNTY FA GIRLS & WOMEN’S FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT OFFICERS AND REGIONAL COACHES/FA TUTORS

REGIONAL FEMALE ONLY REFEREE DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP;
WFA are working with BCFA to help support current and potential female referees. This workshop is aimed at females who want to broaden their knowledge of the laws of the game and refereeing. The exact content is to be confirmed but the following list will provide an idea of what to expect.
- Basic Laws
- Practical Element i.e. the red/yellow card game or how to use a flag
- How to deal with abusive on the day and afterwards reporting it to County FA etc
We’re also going to try and get a local high profile female referee to attend alongside Janie Frampton from the FA, but again this is to be confirmed. The details of the event are as follows;
