To under-pin the work carried out at the WFA Charter Standard Player Development Scheme & Girls Player Development Centre, the WFA Development Team organise a programme of coaching sessions specifically for goalkeepers.
These sessions are delivered by FA Qualified Coaches, with the main aim of providing position specific tuition, developing the player’s goalkeeping skills and technical ability.

'CLUB' GOALKEEPER COACHING SESSIONS:
The WFA also offer to support goalkeepers at individual Charter Standard Clubs through the delivery of coaching sessions at club training.
The offer available is 1 session for Charter Standard Clubs, 2 for Development Clubs and up to 3 for Community Clubs. Please note this will be subject to availability of coaches and allocated on a first come first serve basis (initially for the first ten clubs who respond). To maximise impact a minimum of 6 goalkeepers is required.
