The FA Charter Standard Scheme is a core component of The FA Football Development programme. The scheme establishes minimum operating standards for football development and acts as a quality assurance mechanism recognising well run clubs, universities and holiday schemes.
As a benchmark for quality, it should improve the experience for all involved in the game, by raising standards.
